Change is as inevitable as rain in the spring. Some of us just put on raincoats and splash forward.

This is a lovely quote by Amy Bloom that I found while reading an article in the November 2009 issue of O Magazine. Funny thing is that I use to love to read mostly fashion and beauty magazines but over the years it hasn’t sustained my interest. I love to read posts on life. Superficial things just don’t seem to tickle my fancy.

A Good Word on a Random Wednesday.

I checked my never-ending emails and the first email was from my cousin Jami. It was on time and on point. I have seen this around the web but never shared it. Truth…..

EVERYONE CAN’T BE IN YOUR FRONT ROW

Life is a theater so invite your audiences carefully. Not everyone is holy enough and healthy enough to have a FRONT ROW seat in our lives.
There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships, friendships, fellowships and family!
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW.

Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to: Which ones lift and which ones lean?
Which ones encourage and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are just going downhill?

When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse?
Which ones always have drama or don’t really understand, know and appreciate you and the gift that lies within you?
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW.

The more you seek God and the things of God, the more you seek quality, the more you seek not just the hand of God but the face of God, the more you seek things honorable, the more you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW.

You cannot change the people around you…but you can change the people you are around!
Ask God for wisdom and discernment and choose wisely the people who sit in the FRONT ROW of your life.

Remember that FRONT ROW seats are for special and deserving people and those who sit in your FRONT ROW should be chosen carefully.
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW

My Mantra: Be Happy <3

Life is too short
To be tryin to play some games
Now take some time and think about
If it’s really worth losing me……

Mary J. Blige is sooooo on point with her music. There is nothing else in the world that I rather be besides Happy. Be Happy or Die.

Life in THE BIG APPLE

I made my move to NYC last weekend. It was an easy move because I packed light. I was saddened to leave all of my books home for a while. I am lost without all of my books and a super cute bookcase. We will be reunited soon and it will be bliss again.

Back to NYC…..I moved a few days before my birthday. I had a great birthday. A couple of selfish individuals tried to infiltrate negativity on “my day” but I didn’t let it get the best of me. People will be people and when they show you who they are; you better take heed.

Anyway, I love, love, love my job!!! I love The Crew long time!!! They will always be a part of my life. I have not given up on skin care or makeup. I am just putting some more notches under my belt. I can’t help it if I am good at what I do. It will all come full circle soon.

I will be blogging about my new life in The Big Apple on a daily/weekly basis. It is always an adventure. Thank God for Peaches and Hot Tea. 🙂

The Ali Mo Anthem

Mary J. Blige has always been my girl. I love that she continues to grow and is a trendsetter in her own right. This song is my new anthem. My girl never disappoints me.
