The Inner Beauty Movement
Today is a day that I will never forget. It marks the start of a new period in life for me. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had this power all along. I don’t know where the hesitation to commit to a healthier more beneficial lifestyle came from. I’ve only tried a handful of times and failed. I’m not a quitter and I am more than thrilled to try again.
God has been working with me and shining his light on me. I’m fully convinced that it is not meant for me to ever walk in darkness but through it. I am much more than a new “New Yorker” and a pretty face. The cast and script to my life has been tweaked and tweaked some more for the better.
The start of The Inner Beauty Movement begins with a seven day fast. My dear friend Shawna is doing it with me. We are each others push and encouragement because we will definitely need it. Luckily, we live in the same building. This is my 1st fast of 2010.
Fasting always centers me and enables me to see past the mundane. It affords me the time and energy to “Be Still”. I’m ready and willing to receive this new energy. I will never forget July 1, 2010. The Inner Beauty Movement here I stand.
